Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown
personality. A sorcerer from the Thirteenth trained in the art of Black Magic. She was granted the title of archmagus at the Institute of Magic at a young age and takes great pride in her pursuit for knowledge and mastery of magic. She's considered a proper multidisciplinary scientist by her peers and despite her intellect, recognizes that hard work pays off.Regina hides most of her emotions behind her aloof but candid exterior and might rub people the wrong way. Regina isn’t one to beat around the bush. She’s witty, cynical and spares no time; let alone feelings. While sometimes she might come across as mean-spirited, the intention is never to hurt someone. The other person's feelings aren't even on her mind, she's simply trying to help and educate with all that it entails. She hates wasting time and likes to remind people of that. After all, life is short and she is a very busy woman. Gina likes to abide by her own schedule and doesn't take kindly to people that try to disrupt her routine. She's a workaholic with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Because of this, Gina needs constant mental stimulation. She has a tendency to get completely absorbed into anything that she finds remotely interesting and in the process, she becomes very hard to deal with on the work floor. She’s in fact so particular, she refuses to do any routine work in favor of solving complex problems and doing things she finds more important than insignificant issues that can be taken care of by a coworker or assistant. The constant need for mental stimuli and her inability to deal with both deadlines and trivial issues has caused a variety of complications during her internships as well as her previous jobs. Not only would she eat up an entire year's budget in a few months, she also struggled with the kind of bureaucratic authority that doesn’t know a thing about her work and only cares about numbers. In her eyes, they would consistently try to sacrifice the speed of innovation and quality just to keep their profit margins at a maximum. It’s safe to say Regina has a great dislike for anyone, not just bureaucrats and managers, that try to limit her in her work or put her on unreasonable deadlines. While life doesn't wait for anyone, science can't be rushed by someone's personal or political agenda.Nowadays, the people that know her somewhat figured out how to work around her. While she remains somewhat unpredictable at times, it’s more than manageable. It takes a very unorthodox approach to get Gina to do her work properly but when you know how to get around her flaws, she is pretty much irreplaceable on any research team. And she’s very much aware of that. The fact that her position is so secure feeds her arrogance quite a bit and it also makes her more miserable to deal with. In a bad week, she will still pass down administrative and menial tasks to other researchers, refuse to listen to authority and only explore ideas and findings she finds meaningful despite the grace she’s already been given. It’s safe to say there’s not many people that like working with her. And that serves her just fine.
She’s extremely picky of who she wants to work with. She needs an audience that is both a support network and a group of critics as a bunch of agreeable nobodies would become boring quite fast and a group that is antagonistic at all times would only hinder progress. But what she values above all, is a rival that can meet her measure. Competitive in nature, she will strive to come out on top.At times, she might think a bit too much of herself but part of her arrogance has basis in truth. Her mental faculties are impressive and she has proven herself to be a true intellectual over and over again. Her aptitude for both mathermatics and physics is outstanding and she knows that. Her research papers on pure mathematics are widely considered to be one of the best among her academic peers and it gained Regina her initial recognition within the scientific community before she delved into other branches of science. One might say it has gotten to her head but that’s not why she thinks so highly of herself. To Regina, academic achievements don’t mean much. It's not what drives her at all. To her, the knowledge gained along the way is the true achievement.Regina can be be very modest in the right situations, however. Though she’s hard to please, she will occasionally stumble upon work she finds beautiful and impressive and she won’t keep her praises to herself. Putting other researchers down isn’t something she’d do unless their research is absolute bogus. Most of the time, she tries to see potential in incomplete research or research done by younger scientists. She is, however, of the opinion that some work shouldn't be done by young and talented individuals who are still pure of heart and is best left to people like her who've already soiled theirs hands doing everything god forbid. She refuses to involve people she regards as pure and/or instable in her personal work and will, sometimes agressively, discourage them from walking down the wrong path. Her experiences and somewhat difficult personality have caused her to become extremely critical of those around her. Be it researchers, coworkers or managers. It even affects people in her personal life. She would rather believe in the worst than try and see the best in someone. After all, everybody lies. Even if they mean well. To save herself from heartbreak and disappointment, she’s developed very thick skin and tries to avoid forming deep connections with people. Sometimes that even means she will hurt someone that she loves. It’s those that can see past Gina’s attempts to shut everyone out, that will eventually find a loyal friend in her. Regina loves very deeply but she would rather bottle up her problems and never speak of them. To Gina, strong emotions are irrational and heavily disruptive so she tries to avoid having to deal with them.Yet, as a bystander, Regina could never condemn humanity no matter how much she falls by the wayside. This path has been of her own choice so it wouldn’t be fair to blame anyone else for it. The world is in fact a beautiful place regardless of its shortcomings and she will always champion humanity over any alien race, over artificial intelligence and over even the gods.
the power of death is intoxicating.

Prometheus was both a brilliant researcher and a tutor in astrophysics and arcanima at Akadaemia Anyder. Multifaceted and hard working, she was a favorite among students for her extensive knowledge and elaborate, interesting lectures. As a professor, she had seen her fair share of interesting and promising students but she had never taken anyone under her wing except for one student: Athena. Someone so exceptionally talented in creation magick that she could maybe one day be her equal. Prometheus promptly offered her a position in her research team and together they would work on a wide variety of projects, one of which would eventually get Prometheus expelled for academic misconduct. While working with Athena, she received commendation after commendation from her peers. Due to her highly acclaimed and extensive work on a variety of concepts and due to her seniority within the Akadaemia, Prometheus was ultimately given the seat of Lahabrea when it became vacant. It didn't take long for her to surrender the seat, however, as she had committed a grave sin that lead to her resignation from the Convocation as well as her surrendering all her academic titles.Bored of the usual slog of research projects that were thrown her way, Prometheus decided to play with one of the taboos of the unsundered world: life itself. With her newly acquired title, she could access information that was previously out of her reach and within a few years time, used up all the advantages that came with the position.
With nothing to lose but a desk full of paperwork, Prometheus delved right into research that was strictly outlawed by the convocation.
With Athena's help, she let her imagination run free and created many concepts that were brilliant in their own right but would be too dangerous left alone and unattended.
At home, Athena would tell her lover about the atrocities committed at the lad and pretended to come up with a plan to overtake her teacher. Hephaistos, who had no idea of his wife's involvement, tried to do everything in his power to help her. Together they came up with a plan to expose Prometheus' research and to bind the atrocities she created, they conceptualized a prison underneath Elpis that would later become the gaols of Pandaemonium with Athena at it's head. With the help of Pashtarot, Athena and Hephaistos caught Prometheus red handed and she was subsequently brought to trial. Hephaistos was given the seat of Lahabrea for his masterful subjugation of the creations at the lab and the draft for the complex they called Pandaemonium and his wife would help him realise said concept and then lead it as her familiarity with the creations present would help her keep the prison safe.In reality, Prometheus and Athena had devised a plan together. They would elevate Athena's new husband to the seat of Lahabrea so Athena could continue their research under the eyes of the Convocation. To facilitate their illegal research, they would need a location so far removed from the convocation that only Athena's husband, whom they could manipulate and keep in the dark, would set foot inside from time to time. The prison they designed was a perfect fit. It would give the convocation exactly what they needed the moment their creations were found as well as serve as the perfect front for their operations. Prometheus had long wanted to leave Amaurot, anyway. Especially now that she had learned everything there was to know in their society. She needed fresh waters but she couldn't completely give up all connections. Besides, they made for a good team and it would be a shame to lose a likeminded person. When judgement came, Prometheus accepted it without hesitation. Being banished to god knows where was a blessing in disguise. Nobody really know what became of her after but one thing is for sure: she can't have died in vain.

Mysidia, City of Mages
Located across the ocean from Baron, Mysidia is a city state that is mostly inhabited by mages. It also serves as the capital city of the region, including Mount Ordeals. It’s almost entirely surrounded by water and the back of the city is nestled into a large cliffside. On the mountain side, most of the city’s governing bodies are located as well as a large tower, the Tower of Prayers, that is used to pray to the Serpent of the Whorl, the Eikon Leviathan. The sea-level part of the city is mostly inhabited by civilians and houses a wide variety of locations. It’s a popular tourist attraction and is home to a variety of shops catered towards foreigners and non-magic users. From markets to restaurants and from office buildings to residencies, it has everything the heart of a city needs. On the other side of the cliff, there’s meadow and pastures that stretch all the way east to the foot of Mount Ordeals. This land is mostly home to farmers and people that are (near) impoverished.Mysidia sports many canals and even waterfalls thus making boats and gondolas a very popular means to travel through the city’s infrastructure. The abundance of magic users is another reason why large ground vehicles are an uncommon sight in the city.
Though Mysidia is mostly below sea level, the city hasn’t flooded in over a thousand years because of the Tower of Prayers and the magi's control over waterThe City’s governing body is the High Council of Mysidia, a council of 12 Archmagi that all specialize in their own magick and head a legislative department, such as Internal Affairs or Economics. The head of state is the City Elder, chosen by an oracle but does not interfere in political or legislative matters unless heavenly powers, such as Eikons, are involved. The City Elder is said to be a mage of considerable power but none but the high clergy at the Tower of Prayers have ever seen their face. When crises arise, the High Council and its departments function under the direct jurisdiction of the City Elder. The High Council's office is called the Horologium and is located on the top most floor of an old clock tower.Archmagus is a title gained through merit or inherited by blood. Although most noble bloodlines have long muddled with others and passed, some houses still remain to this day. Despite not all of them pursuing political influence in the city either because of their already established position in society or business-related partnerships in other countries, some do tend to pass on their titles within their family, afraid to fall in decline.

Institute of Magic
Regina is the Chief Researcher at the institute of magic and a professor at the Academy.
Though her academic responsibilities aren't nearly as great as they used to be, she occasionally chooses to hold lectures at the Academy in her spare time. Due to her limited schedule, her lectures are treated as a once in a lifetime chance for students at the academy and are even attended by people from outside of Mysidia.
As Chief Researcher, she conducts government funded research into a variety of scientific areas but her primary focus lies in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or rather; Alchemy.
Hardworking and a genius in her own regard, she’s seen as a model scholar. Notoriety, however, doesn’t come with just praise. Over the years, many rumors surfaced that Regina might be involved with a doomsday cult as well as unauthorized human experimentation.
She was never prosecuted for any because all rumors and accusations were found to be baseless but that didn’t mean they weren’t true.
As a pursuer of true knowledge, Regina had long delved into forbidden and unethical research in search of answers that were yet to be answered. To create life from nothingness, to harvest life energy from the lifestream and make souls anew, to create vessels that could harbor that energy, to find the truth about life. These were all questions that would occupy her every thought and keep her up at night. Someone had to reach a conclusion, especially in a world that was doomed from the start.
End of the World
It wasn’t because of some kind of spiritual conviction that she decided to join a cult. On the contrary, Regina never believed in anything but cold hard facts. It was mere town gossip that sparked her interests. At a soon to be ceremony, the cultists would unveil their infallible proof that the world was going to end soon.
It was curiosity that made her attend. After sitting through the speakers preaching for hours, nothing substantial was brought to the table. Only talk of how people should surrender their flesh at the given hour to be born anew in a brave new world. The usual endeavor.
However, nearing the end of the ceremony, a hooded figure stepped forward. From them, Regina sensed an insurmountable amount of aether. Something akin to what she conjured during her most questionable experiments. Something so inhuman it could only be described as alien. The figure did not speak but with a snap of their fingers, the scenery changed and they were all transported to an unknown location. Though it was all but an illusion made by the fiend’s powerful magicks, there was no doubt it was a perfect recreation of the physical location it was made to resemble.
In this perfect illusion, there was something that immediately drew the attention of the crown,
a fissure oozing with powerful, dark magicks. It was so powerful, in fact, that even those without the ability to sense aether, were getting overwhelmed and nauseous even.
Along with the oppressiveness of the aether, Regina quickly identified the smell of decay and death. But there was much more. She was no stranger to this feeling. It was best described as Aether Rot, or the forcible decay of aether. It wasn’t the smell of the aether itself but by corrupting aether in such a way, the surrounding life would rot and eventually disintegrate at a molecular level, causing a scent similar to human decomposition but much more more foul as the phenomenon wouldn’t spare a single earthly thing except for a spare few minerals. She could now understand how this would quickly place seeds of doubt in the hearts of all those present here and how it would eventually increase the cult’s numbers. But to her, this was just an affirmation for something she already suspected for a long time. The world was damaged beyond human control.
After studying the fissure more carefully and making several mental notes, her eyes fell on the hooded figure. This herald of unknown power was an anomaly she found herself especially interested in. With that much power, they could definitely close this relatively small fissure before it grew any bigger. There must be a reason for them to push towards a cataclysm. This otherworldly figure had something to gain from the death of this world.
Frankly, knowing just that frustrated her more than she would have liked. It was like a punch to the face; a blow to her ego. Being the test subject in someone else’s research wasn’t how she had aspired to live out her final years. But what frustrated her the most was that whatever faction or species this figure belonged to, must have found the answer to her questions a long time ago. And that thought alone, made her blood boil and burn like a raging inferno.
For a moment, her burning gaze fell upon the mask of the hooded figure who now looked directly at her. While everyone else seemed frozen in time, Regina raised to her feet to ask the figure a question: ‘What purpose does it serve? Destroying our world. Tell me what you want to achieve. I need to know. Perhaps our purpose is one and the same. If so, I need to know.”“Impudent child, do not dare to speak of our purpose as one and the same.” The figure answered only to undo the illusion and disappear into a portal. The speaker of the cult regained consciousness and continued as if nothing happened and after another slew of words, wished the crowd a good night’s rest and prayed for their inauguration the following week.
Regina did just that. She completed the inauguration and joined the cult. With her own motives of course. Her genius allowed her to quickly rise through the ranks. By playing her role and taking part in ceremonies, she had secured herself a coveted spot to do her research away from the eyes of the people.
Regina’s research
Despite the doubts she had carried with her ever since that night, Regina diligently carried out her experiments and research. She was nearing a breakthrough.
This experiment was the accumulation of more than a decade of work and it was finally starting to take shape. Though incomplete, her research seemed to be taking a more concise shape every passing day. An artificial human could be born any day now. She was simply waiting for the perfect readout.
Making the body had been a relatively easy feat, the brain was already much more complicated but she had yet to require a whole human soul.
Making souls, on the other hand, came with a whole library of complications so a replacement had to do for now. She just needed the body and brain to function properly. That soul could take a lifetime of work but this first step was nowhere less important. A perfect vessel was needed to eliminate any complication along the way.
A vessel that required years of research, precious materials that were near impossible to find, witchcraft that had been nearly lost to time and most importantly and a stillborn child with a DNA match as a control. In other words, she needed two children of which one needed to die. But it would only be temporary, as they would regain life just over a decade later as an artificial life form.
When the readings announced the conception of Regina’s research, she let the boy free from his alchemical prison and after a quick check up, she proclaimed this stage an astounding success.
This newborn homunculus perfectly resembled a human boy. To the naked eye, he was no different from a child his age. However, this machination was not alive by any definition. His flesh was meticulously frozen in time and his brain functioned like that of a machine. He borrowed his thoughts and intellect from his maker and did not have any free will to speak of. He was but a hollow shell imbued with the will of his mother.
Regina instilled in him the fundamentals of a boy his age and tasked him with a similar search to her own. But aside from that, he was free to roam the world as he pleased. Of course, he was to follow her every command and never speak of his true nature but aside from that, she had no need for him as of now. She would just continue to monitor him.
Before he left, there was one more thing Regina needed to tell him: her other child. While she was working non-stop, her son had patiently awaited his brother’s return. She ordered the homunculus to indulge him. To tell him he had been staying with their grandparents abroad. That their mother had finally called for a reunion because ‘to celebrate her success’.
The days that followed were relatively happy. Regina would spend time with her sons after being absent for a long time. But before long, she would return to her research again leaving both of them to fend mostly for themselves.
After all, there was much to be done and those hooded figures that facilitated their doom, were standing directly between her and the truth. If she didn’t take care of them now, she wouldn’t even come close to the answer she was looking for.
LORE : On the Precipice of Life.
Memoria and the Eidolons
Long had Mysidian scholars warned against the misuse of Memoria against the summoned Eidolons as it would imbalance the world’s natural aether but all of those who spoke out against the art, were subsequently silenced by those at the helm of the country.
Regina, too, had confirmed the direct influence of the use of Memoria with the sudden insurgence of summons and darkness corrupted entities in earlier research but knew not to speak of it. After all, she needed to maintain her precious position to complete her own research. Her patience during this stage was paramount even if it cost lives.
Besides, the wounds inflicted by the misuse of this mysterious, otherworldly power were already too deep to be mended by mortal means. She had seen it with her own eyes. Banning the use would only delay the inevitable.
Her friend, too, was totally mesmerized by her new found power. Regina warned her a good few times but Cylva wouldn’t hear any of it. Blaming Regina’s suspicions on envy because she was never able to awaken Memoria herself. Regina didn’t press it further as it was a waste of her time to try and educate fools. And thus the Memoriates would continue the total annihilation of the Eidolons until their very flesh would corrupt and they would turn on their fellow humans.
As the memoriates turned to darkness, Regina gave Cylva one last warning before leaving for the far edge of the world. Cylva begged for her to stay and fight alongside her but Regina sternly refused. Betrayed, Cylva asked what could possibly be more important than fighting for their existence to which Regina answered that she would fight for their existence, just not in a way her friend would ever be able to understand.
Cylva, now more angry than before, demanded Regina explain herself but she was denied again by Regina who told her that she didn’t listen to her for years so why would she suddenly start listening now.
Before Regina could walk away, however, Cylva asked her one final question. Whether or not she had joined that death cult that everyone has been talking about. Without much hesitation, Regina answered yes and told her friend she’d been with them for quite some time.
Unable to make any sense of Regina’s words, Cylva bared her blade but was promptly parried by the witch and disarmed.
Regina said her farewells and left promptly without elaborating on her choices as she didn’t feel the need to tell her friend what she was truly up to. It could only sabotage her plans from here on out.
Flood of Darkness
Regina’s plan required a few things. Manpower, time and a concise action.
Over her years as a cultist, she managed to convince them that her plan for the end of the world would be the best course of action. With the help of a skilled debater she befriended in the coven, she could get them to carry out her plan.
In reality, Regina just needed a group of people that was motivated and crazy enough to go manhunting in the final hours.
Her plan to undermine the Ascians and escape their failed experiment was rather simple and primitive: murder everyone and make their souls return lifestream before the Flood of Darkness hits so that they might be reborn again and the moment she reaches her answers in another world, she can reconstruct their souls and make life anew.
With her recent developments, she was now able to conceptualize and archive the stripped away memories of souls in a interdimensional subspace the before the soul was 'wiped clean' in the lifestream. In essence, she could completely preserve someone's identity. This system came at a massive cost, though. The unsurmountable amounts of energy required to were unsustainable in the long term. Right now, the Thirteenth's residual aether was enough to power her machinations as the planet had already begon to deteriorate due to the rise of dark aspected aether. But when the planet is completely drained of its aether, the system would naturally shut down and start to consume itself to save as much data as possible. It was paramount that she found a new source of power before the world was condemned to nothingness.
One option was to reenact something similar to the summoning of Zodiark: while Regina at the time didn't know of the Ascians' past, she reached a conclusion that was very reminiscent of the sacrifice made by the ascians thousands of years ago. To sustain her database for another few centuries, she would use the aether of approximately half the population. It wasn't Regina's prefered method. She didn't care for the fact that she was going to have to play god and choose who gets to live. No, she hated the survival rates and numbers on paper. It was desperate, unnecessarily time consuming and could cost her precious research material.
The other option was riskier but much more tempting. If she could get her hands on one of those dark-hooded paragons, their bodily aether should be sufficient for a while.
The moment she sets foot in another world, she could find a suitable power source in little to no time.
The Final Problem
The only problem: even with her aptitude for magick, she couldn't possibly beat an ascian alone. Perhaps it was time to finally make use of those pesky memoriates. She would draw both parties in a fight at the end of the world. She would patiently bide her time until both parties were exhausted from battle. Once overwhelmed, she would imprison the ascian in a device that would drain them of all their aether and render them to dust. She only needed to make sure to isolate the right people and keep all others from mingling.
It was her perfect scenario. She would get to carry out her research with a justifiable reason and have her revenge on these otherworldly beings that claim their right to life as more legitimate. She one more reason as well: voidsent were completely useless to her. Beings tainted by excess darkness, or any aspect for that matter, were neigh impossible to restore to their proper form. It would also eat away at time and resources that were much better spent somewhere else.
And so she would set her final plan in motion. Once she had commenced the mass exodus, she would concern herself with her little ascian problem. Fortunately for her, she knew her fair share of memoriates that wouldn't waste any time trying to get to the bottom of this. Heroes were still sensible and knew someone was orchestrating this from behind the scenes.
LORE : End of the World.
Hostile Reunion
In the days leading up to the end, Regina visited an old friend. The witch was happy to see that Cylva had succesfully conquered the darkness inside of her and was now wielding her power as a memoriate as her own. Cylva had always been talented but she had a tendency to get caught up in her own thoughts and doubts.
The moment Cylva recognised her, though, she didn't waste a single second unsheathing her sword. Regina had already anticipated such a reaction and simply stayed at a safe distance. She didn't waste any time and told Cylva a quick summary of what was transpiring behind the scenes, knowing she'd connect the dots herself. While Cylva tried her best to cut the conversation short, the elf couldn't help but hear her out. Perhaps it was her curiosity, perhaps she still held on to some kind of hope. No matter the reason, she stayed and listened. Even offering her own input.
Together they devised a plan. They would fight the ascian together. Cylva's band of memoriates would hold the line while the two of them would work together to subdue the Ascian Overlord with all their might. Hesitantly, Regina agreed. Although she didn't want to involve herself, Cylva left her no choice. It was never a compromise; it was an ultimatum. Her friend's trust had been shattered beyond repair the last time they saw eye to eye that this was the price Regina had to pay in order to get what she wanted.
Death's Eve
On the final day, Cylva and Regina succesfully cornered the Ascian Igeyohrm and with all their might managed to bring the fight to a stalemate. Depleted of their aether and stamina, the pair tried their best to fend off the attacks hurled at them by the hooded figure. The fight was taking much longer than expected and Regina was starting to feel time slipping by. She had a means to escape but that would mean that her plan was ultimately a failure and she would suffer a massive setback. Regina chose to bide her last minutes before considering the plan a failure. There was still a chance of succes, no matter how small. All she needed was for the Ascian to break and flee. Igeyohrm was in a similar predicament but due to the stress put on her by her fellow overlords, she chose the more surefire way to escape the heat.
The ascian opened a portal to recollect herself and escape but with some quick thinking and proper anticipation, Regina managed to follow Igeyohrm into her hiding hole. There she channeled a binding spell and let the device do the rest. In a matter of minutes, the device had drained almost 80% of the ascian's aether. While waiting for the procedure, Regina's mind wandered to a means to escape this faraway place. Unbeknownst to her, another being had slithered inside while she was deep in thought. Burning chains wrapped around all Regina's limbs, binding her in place as the figure released Igeyohrm from her restraints just before she her form started to desintegrate.
The man, wearing an Ascian mask, introduced himself as the paragon Lahabrea. Another one of the Ascians that had been monitoring her planet closely. He didn't waste too many words on her but what he did tell her was very interesting: the Ascian she had almost turned to ash was now under his jurisdiction and her planet, which they called the Thirteenth shard, was lost even to them. They talked about a concept called a 'rejoining' and how they, or more specifically, their souls were more 'whole' than hers.
While she would surely remember his words, her brain was slowly shutting down, rendering her unable to draw sensible conclusions. She could also feel her consciousness slipping.
The last thing she remembered is staring death right in the eyes before seeing a bright flash as another figure entered the stage.
A New Dawn
The next time she opened her eyes, she was certain she was in the process of dying and was experiencing some kind of cinematic flashback moment that many refer to as 'seeing one's life flash before their eyes'. But it wasn't any of that. She was confined to a bed, an unfamiliar one. Her head hurt and so did her body. Her arms and legs were all wrapped up in bandages and she couldn't think straight which made her suspect she was on some kind of anesthetic. Try as she might, she couldn't get her body to move and when her mind was unable to form another coherent thought, she closed her eyes again in vain, ready to drift off into another slumber.

Though Regina's business is small and relatively unknown, it's not unusual to see new faces in Eorzea's centre of commerce. Perhaps you're about to strike a business deal or did you meet each other at the bar.ii.
Those who deal with void-related issues, the void-touched and voidsent hunters.
Since Regina's business deals with voidsent, you're very likely to know her name if you're in the same business as her.iii.
Those who are young and/or orphans or parents and/or caretakers.
Regina has always been fond of children, especially as a teacher. She's taught many how to cast their first spells and she somehow has an unlimited amount of patience when it comes to young'uns. Regina is a strong believer of that education should be accessible to all because a bright mind needs a place where their intelligence is properly nurtured.
iv.
Those who are skilled in the art of magick: Mages, Sorcerers and Black Mages
As very skilled Black Mage and an alchemist herself, she is always looking to improve her skills, share her knowledge and discover new depths, especially from those who are (about) equal to her in skill. Witches must band together in these dire times, right?v.
Those who call themselves heroes, Warriors of Light or Memoriates.
Regina has a very vocal distaste for theatrical heroism and savior complexes. She doesn't like the large amount of play-pretend heroes that roams the lands at all. The majority of them aren't even close to her personal expectations of what a true hero should be like and she feels like they disgrace the title of 'hero'. It's just a deep rooted hatred that she's had since the Contramemoria.
vi
Those who enjoy poetry and literature.
A big fan of poetry and avid reader herself, Regina can always be strung along for a conversation about literary works. Accompanied by a good cup of coffee or tea set, she can go on for hours about her favorite works.vii.
Those who enjoy a good debate or like to problem-solve. In particularly, those who enjoy mathematical theorem.
As a woman of learning, Regina enjoys talking about difficult and complex subjects. She enjoys nothing more than discussing a matter with someone. Be it in the form of a brainstorm or a well-organized discussion.viii.
Those who are looking to learn and be guided.
Once a professor at the most prestigious Mage Academy of the Thirteenth, Regina has quite some years as an educator under her belt. She loves to teach. To all ages. And she will adjust the complexity of her material to the skill level and mental capabilities of the learner as much as possible to accommodate them perfectly.
ix.
Those who once lived on the Thirteenth shard.
As a soul from the Thirteenth herself, she wouldn't be opposed to finding kindred spirits.x.
Those who thread the thin line between life and death: necromancers, artificial life forms and forbidden alchemy.
Her personal research involves topics that are taboo or simply forbidden in most states. Though she would never admit she's looking into any of these topics, people that study the same subject know how and where to find likeminded people.
it is a comfort to the wretched
to have companions in misery.
Magic is science. — It’s simply a fancier term
for showing people the impossible is attainable.

cyella (cylva)
friend/lovers
summary. Regina's best friend and partner. When they were younger, they were like water and oil: one from the streets and the other grew up with considerable wealth. But despite their differences, they eventually got along very well. Cylva is Regina's most trusted friend but she is also the one person that she dreads to see as her partial involvement in the demise their world would be a hard topic to thread upon. Little does she know, Cylva has plenty of stories to tell of her own.
drusilla
business partner
summary. The Lemures of Ul'dah are Regina's primary buisiness partners in her void-related dealings. Regina and Drusilla had an altercation that lead to a very strong trust bond and a partnership between their businesses. They often drink and play card games together at a bar like two old men. Drusilla can actually appreciate Regina's cold demeanor and dry humor. Many of Drusilla's former disciples went to work for Gina's agency after completing their formal reaper training.
unukalhai
mentee
summary. Young hero Unukalhai challenged her when she worked with the doomsday cult and the Ascian Igeyorhm. The young mage proved to be no match for an Archmage of her caliber and lost fight after fight as his fellow Memoriates refused to heed his calls for help. When his allies suddenly fell victim to the darkness they had once sealed and were slaughtered by the Ascian's champion, the young mage quickly despaired. His anguish diminished his gift of light and even the Ascians could no longer keep the darkness they instigated in check, resulting in the Flood of Darkness.

deucalion
eldest son
summary. Prometheus' eldest son. A trickster and a very clever young man. Though he loves his mother very much, he will always be traumatized by losing his father who's said to be returned to the star when he was just a little boy. Deep inside, he still blames his mother for letting him go so easily.
pandora
youngest son
summary. Prometheus' youngest son. Though his father is unknown to anyone but his mother, he never bothered to ask. A man that would leave his mother alone with two children is no father in his eyes. He's a bit of a spoiled brat and a crybaby even with his mother's strict upbringing.
